Unspeakable Joy (A Word)
When you are with the Lord, demons must flee and sadness is nowhere to be found.
When you are with the Lord, the living Word rises up and speaks to the downcast soul. Our problems are temporary and this time will pass like every season before it and every season after it. With everything under the sun there is a time. Today, it’s time to remember the promises of God, not the noise of Satan who is the father or lies and the accuser of the brethren. We must listen to the Father of Lights.
A WORD.....for the one who is seeking His rest and reassurance, this is what the Lord says to you.
The best thing in the world is when you have peace and joy in the Lord. You feel like shouting from the rooftop – ‘Praise His holy name’.
I love how 1 Peter 1:8 puts it. ‘Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory’.
No man can ever interfere with the inexpressible joy that we have in Christ. We cannot fully explain it in words, and it is not dependent upon our circumstances. The joy of the Lord is not the same joy as experienced by the hypocrite, for their joy fades with the sun.
True joy in Jesus is with you into the night, into the wee hours of the morning where His presence brings warmth and light, where shadows and chilly air pale into insignificance when you are in the company of the Lord.
To be around men of the dust can feel lonelier than being on your own, but I tell you, you are never alone when the Lord of all Heaven and Earth fills your cup to overflowing. To be in His presence, with shouts of ‘Glory, Glory’, is a beautiful thing to behold.
In the Lord of glory you’ll find hope. Tears turn into laughter and despair into celebration. Hallelujah.
Comfort and peace from the Father’s mighty hand – who can reverse it? Not man, nor I.
Of His great love and kindness, He reminds us. Encouragement and reassurance that He has all things under control provides rest to the weary soul.
The new day brings fresh perspective that everything will be alright. The cares of this world are fleeting and vanish, here one moment and then gone, but the glory of the Lord endures forever.
He or she who trusts in the Lord will never be put to shame.
He is worthy to have our praise. LOOK UP, LOOK UP AND SEE THE LORD OF GLORY. Do not cast your eyes around to all that is vanity and subject to God’s sovereign hand. Look to the One who holds all things in His hands.
A new season is approaching. Hope is here already. Can you see? Look up! Rejoice! Lift your hands and sing! Thanks be to Jesus Christ who strengthens me.
