The Power of Speaking in Tongues

We miss an important word when we translate Acts 6:4 regarding prayer and reading the Word.

The King James Version says; ‘But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.’

What do we miss in the translation from Greek? The word ‘THE’

The correct translation is; ‘We will give ourselves continually to THE word and THE prayer’.

So why is this important? The word THE means there is one type of prayer being mentioned here. What is that prayer?

Apostle Paul speaks of the same prayer language in this verse.

1 Corinthians 14:18

‘I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you.’

Speaking in tongues is an important part of your prayer life.

The POWER that is unleashed through this heavenly language will bring healing to the inner and outer man, supernatural protection, will cause a higher level of praise, give you a great revelation of Christ's love and much more.
