Kiss the Wave

Indeed, 'I have learned to kiss the wave that throws me against the Rock of Ages'

When a wave comes your way, there is nothing that draws you closer to the King Of Israel (Jesus) than this good old wave. Sometimes it may even feel like a tsunami, but for the Lord, it is nothing for Him to conquer on your behalf. The Lord loves us to stay close to Him at all times and when we drift away, He draws us close again. But there's also more that He is doing.

A surfer knows well how to use the incoming wave to their advantage. What may otherwise be a wipe-out, becomes the very opportunity to ride the wave and experience the victory.

We read in Genesis that Joseph was given a dream by God, but then after this, he was betrayed by his brothers and sold off into slavery.

But Joseph had the favour of the Lord and he rode the wave until he became second in charge of Egypt. This gave him the opportunity to save many, including his own family.

Instead of paying back his brothers for their evil, he showed them grace and saved them.

Genesis 50:20 records Joseph saying, 'As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.'

When a storm comes, watch the Lord do a marvellous thing in your sight. See how the Lord turns evil into good.

It is always a blessing to lift up your hands and give thanks to the Lord.

Thank You Jesus for Your love, love, love.
