During the last hour, 18 Christians died for their faith! (Yes, 160,000 during the last year, killed for God’s glory.)
The Christian buzz words are; “influence”, “promotion”, “being the best me…”
Yes, this is true.
Those 18 people who endured persecution, Jesus loves so dearly.
They have INFLUENCED those around them by their witness, to bring glory to Him.
They have been PROMOTED and are now with Him.
And yes, they were being the ‘BEST ME’, a true disciple of JESUS CHRIST, who took up their cross and followed Him.
No hype, no fame, no money, no dream fulfilled. Just offering themselves as living sacrifices for the glory of God.
Is this biblical?
Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship.
Futhermore, “We estimate that there are more than 200 million Christians in the world today who do not have full human rights as defined by the UN Declaration of Human Rights, simply because they are Christians. We believe that this is the largest group in the world without full human rights because of their beliefs,” states Johan Candelin, director of the WEA Religious Liberty Commission.”
God bless those who are suffering for His name’s sake.
