Are you seeking happiness in this world? Is it in a spouse or children or friends?
These are all very important, but they are only temporal. Our spouse may die, our children grow up and leave us and make their own choices in life, our friends are fleeting like the wind, most only really want what they can get out of you they don`t satisfy us or fill the emptiness inside.
If we are truly honest with ourselves, we will come to this realisation that the void that we feel inside can only be satisfied with the living God, Our Maker, Our Creator. It is He that we are searching for and when we find Him, we`ll discover true peace and contentment that will last for all eternity. Keep searching with all your heart until you find Him!
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Here are just a few Scriptures where we are told to seek the Lord with ALL our heart, and we will find Him.
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
I encourage you to seek your creator with all your heart as I did, and you will not be disappointed. He is waiting for you to turn to Him!
He loves you so much that He was willing to send His only beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment on the cross for your sins so that you can have a home in Heaven with Him and live the rest of the time you have here on earth living to please Him, but you must repent, believe and receive Him with all your heart!
Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2)!
