When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.
Daniel 6:10 ESV
There will be some Christians who say "I don't have time to pray" or "I forget to pray."
Reader, if this is you, I would urge you to start to schedule time to pray. We must remember, prayer should be one of our highest priorities daily. We should ask ourselves 'is what I am doing more important than prayer?'
We need to make time or force time for prayer, because it is that important! The prophet Daniel understood this and scheduled to pray three times a day.
Our beloved Messiah understood the importance of making time for prayer regardless of how busy He was:
That evening at sundown they brought to [Jesus] all who were sick or oppressed by demons. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him. And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.
Mark 1:32-35 ESV
Much like a couple schedules time for each other, let us schedule time to commune and speak to our Lord.
