"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10
If you are/have been anxious, worried, exhausted, hurt, ill or depressed, then this scripture is a great one to memorise for the times when you are having a weak moment.
It is important that we hold on to our faith during the trials that we go through, but sometimes this can be very difficult for us to do, especially when we feel the symptoms or the effects of this physically.
We must remember that no matter how hard or bad our situation looks, no matter how difficult life may get, God is always there to help us.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
God is the strength that upholds us through our day-to-day struggles.
Yes, this scripture is 100% correct that God will help us through our trials, but it is important to note that we do not know what this looks like in everyone's different situations.
God does not promise that we will never be anxious, fall ill, get depressed etc. God actually warns us that we will go through trials and tribulations and that our lives here on earth will be a hard journey to persevere. (James 1:2-3, 1 Corinthians 10:13-14, Matthew 7:13-14, 1 Peter 5:7, Deuteronomy 31:6)
As human beings, we tend to assume that we know exactly what something means, and then anything outside of that conclusion we choose to disregard.
Sometimes, we think we know what something does or doesn't mean, however, we should be praying to God about our hard moments in life. We then should leave it with Him, trusting Him, knowing that He has it all under control.
Praise almighty God that we can trust and lean on Him for our support.
