“So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” - Romans 1:16
Here in Romans, Paul says that he was ready to preach God’s Word and was not ashamed of sharing it.
We need to be like this also and share God’s Word!
As Christians, we should want to go and tell everybody the Gospel in the hope that they may be saved.
We shouldn’t be hiding our faith or only saying, “God loves you”and hoping that pleases God enough. Instead of looking at it that way, we should be sharing everything that a person needs to know to be saved!
Paul would've had many reasons why he “should” have stayed quiet and not shared the Gospel, but he still preached whenever he could, even if that led to him being thrown into prison.
This world is temporary, but where we go after this life is everlasting. We do not want to hold back in not sharing the Gospel with people for the reason of being scared of the consequences.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us pray for those who are lost and need to hear the Gospel, but also act upon that prayer; whether it puts our life in danger, risks our relationships or embarrasses us.
God will help you to know how to share when you begin to take that action.
